a christmas engagement

This Christmas Eve was an eventful one for us. It heralded a new addition to our family, and lots of exciting plans for the year to come. Remember Abbie & Scott from just one post ago? Well, they are finally tying the knot! Believe me, I've been waiting for this announcement for a while now, and I'm so happy for my sister and her fiancé. Theirs is going to be one awesome wedding!

So, I'll let the photos of the proposal speak for themselves. (p.s. she was totally shocked--in a good way!--and by far not the only one in the room crying!)
